I have just pushed out the new 1.3 version of Zed Press, the WordPress plugin that allows you to display your Zazzle.com products on your WordPress based website.

What’s new?

New to version 1.3 is the removal of the reliance on the Titan Framework plugin.

Zed Press used the Titan Framework plugin to help create its option pages but due to the framework seeming to be abandoned or at the very least slow moving, I have taken the decision to move away from it.

The options page had been rebuilt with CMB2 an excellent framework for metaboxes, options pages and more. It is well supported and gives a huge amount of room for custom options.

Now that that is out of the way, here is a quick run down of the changes in version 1.3.

  • Removal of Titan Framework.
  • Addition of Padding, Margin, Border option.
  • Improvements to responsive styling.
  • Improvements to code stability.
  • Improvements to caching.
  • Titan to CMB2 options converter.
  • Documentation updated.

Automatic updates will hopefully be coming in the next update. I will have more details on that very soon.

If you are eager to get your hands on this new version then look no further than your inbox. You should have gotten an email earlier today with the update attached.
