While I am busy with the update of The Attached Image (which is taking a while) I thought I’d write a post about something that is commonly searched for, or so I’ve read. Matching image tags using REGEX can be difficult, but I’m here to, hopefully, make it easier.
Ok, so I just wanted to let everyone know what is happening. As you may have read some of The Attached Image’s functionallity will basically become obsolete with WordPress 2.9 coming out soon. However I’m convinced the plugin is still different enough for it to be worth continuing development on.
So while I am trying to get back into the swing of things & am making a few modifications to The Attached Image, I thought I would do a list of the programs I always install after a format. So without further ado here they are.

So I was just playing around with WordPress 2.9 rare to see what changes have been made (as beta testing is starting soon) & it seems the clever people at WordPress may have just removed the need for my plugin (The Attached Image) with their new the_post_image() function.
