This is an example of the sliding footer. There is one limitation with this that I forgot to mention in the tutorial. If the page is not big enough to fill the entire browser window it revert to looking as if the footer is sliding downward. This is because the browser view cannot follow the footer to complete the illusion. Unfortunately I haven't yet figured out how to solve this without removing the footer from document flow.
Like I said I am by no means a jQuery expert. If you have any ideas on how to improve this, let me know via the comments on the original post. Because this page obviously doesn't have enough content I have used height to bloat the side of the page.
