So I’ve been sitting trying to add thumbnail generation into The Attached Image, but I’ve just realised that I’m trying to re-invent the wheel. There is a perfectly good thumbnail generation script out there called TimThumb. Obviously I can’t add that into my plugin due to licensing, but instead I’m going to add a link in the updated admin to a simple tutorial (that I haven’t wrote yet) that shows you how to use TimThumb to generate thumbnails. It’s not the perfect solution, but it’s the best I can come up with for the moment.

A few people have emailed me asking for an easy way to donate or contribute in some way, so I have added a donations box to the plugin in the vain of other plugins I’ve seen. Hopefully that will provide an easier way to donate or buy me a Amazon wish list gift.

The new version & the tutorial will be available soon, probably the end of this month or start of December as I have so much to do this month (sorry everyone).
